We had a wonderful Christmas this year. The boys received lots of presents but the ones they have had the most fun playing with are these Star Wars blasters. Yes, they are huge and yes, they also make quite a bit of noise. They even come apart to make 3 different guns. My boys have been in heaven ever since opening these guns. Wills even let me hold his gun after he took out the ammo so it would be safe.
We did not do much for New Years Eve but our neighbors had quite a night. We though Southerners loved their fireworks, but the Germans try to light up the night sky as if they were trying to recreate the Blitzkrieg. We had loud noises all night on every side of us. The boys thought it was neat, but Murphy was freaking out all night. The following morning we saw the carnage all around the neighborhood. Red sulfur was everywhere as well as the remnants of hundreds of fireworks. Broken bottles were scattered about as well as unbroken bottles. We were shocked that a country who seems to love rules and order had s
uch a wild night. Apparently it is like this every year.We also had to go to the train station and I was struck by this store across the street from the station. I hope other people enjoy it as well.
Today we woke up to a 3" blanket of snow and decided to try out the sleds we bought in November. We had a wonderful time and the boys want to do it again tomorrow.
